okey now i am very mcuh clear about the call progress. now my only last concern is about when a Call is received and receiver is the 8880 Chip. can 8880 chip detect this signal, because as i know i think the Ring signal is different than the other OFF HOOK signals. and also how can i go ON HOOK to OFF HOOK to receive the call and then later ON HOOK again.

Just want to know CAN 8880 handle this or NO (NO means i will need some other methods to do so. i will figure them out)
