#31184 - Regarding Look-Up Tables... |
Hi everyone,
I was wondering how to display the equivalent value after I use an ADC chip. i.e., Suppose, I am using an ADC chip to read the position of an arm that can move to 45deg either side of the mid-position. and the ADC is -5v to +5v. therefore, -45deg corrosponds to 00 (considering an 8-bit adc) and +45deg corrosponds to FFh. Suppose, I receive a value like 01h the how do I display a value like -44.0593deg (the exact value corrosponding to the digital value). I surely cannot store decimal values in 8051 nor can a value like 44059 etc be stored. So, how do I go about it... Warm REgards, Sriharsha |
