you shall not be able to store -44.0593 but you can always store 44059 because it can be done by using DW directive.if you wish to have more precision then you may choose: db 44 db 05 db 93 so three bytes cater for each entry.since you have got all decimals per byte value can not exceed 99.so by inserting a 255 in between you can account for decimal point also. so: db 44 db 255 db 05 db 93 shall take 4 bytes and shall mean 44.0593 this takes 4 bytes per entry.with signed display you can have 1 more byte to account for it. so a 256 value shall take 256*5 bytes. for accessing you can use multiply inst. and movc instr. regards pranav |
