Why ever not??!! they're all just numbers, and digital electronics thrives on numbers! But whether either would actually be a good or sensible way to achieve your goal is another issue! What do you want to do with these values? Do you simply need to display them, or do you need to use them in calculations? Are you programming in 'C', Assembler, or something else? Do a 'Search' for "Fixed Point" for a useful alternative to floating-point maths! |
