You don't have 64K of RAM then ? you have 32K of RAM and 32K of ram that looks like ROM to the 8052-BASIC, so it doesn't see it at boot.

You could always burn a copy of 8052-BASIC into an 87C52, or you could try and play with a Dallas DS2250, which could do exactly what you want and look like a full processor with BASIC on board, or you could try and rewrite the code into assembler, or try a C compiler

There are dozens of possible scenarios. It depends on how competent you think you are.

Personally I like the 2250 idea.
