AMD? Still supporting PALs?! You must be kidding??!!! AMD got out of PALs aeons ago - even before they sold off their comms chips business. It must be going on for 10 years ago now (well, that is an aeon in semiconductor industry terms!) [nostalgia] I started using PALs back when they were the latest hot thing from MMI, and Britain still had a defence electronics industry! In those days, PALASM was supplied as a FORTRAN listing in the back of the databook! I remember that we gave this to an undergrad apprentice (intern?) to type-in by hand! (no internet downloads back then!) [/nostalgia] |
