Hi Steve,

We already had one for this very project. No one seems to know where the part came from, and we only have one. TI lists the part for $129 per unit in quantities of 1000, so I guess it must have cost us $200-$300 if we got it new.. looks new, but wasn't in its original packaging. Needless to say, I will be very careful so as not to blow this little bugger up (assuming it still works anyway)!

For both Steve's and my benefits (incase I do destroy it), if anyone knows the 1 off price of a TI TC281 CCD image sensor and a supplier in the U.K. or U.S. that can supply them in quantities of 1, please let us know!
