#37012 - RE: Elector electronics competition. |
a chess computer using an atmel 89 series controller
Another example of using a microcontroller where a microprocessor should have been used. I see so many cases of blatant incompetents bragging "I used the wrong component, look it works - oh, I am so proud". When has it ever been a reason to brag that you used the wrong component? but said something about them not being able to handle recursion in the code Obviously, because they coded for a microprocessor which the '51 is not. Erik PS since elektor is not (to the best of my knowledge) published in the US, someone please forward to me the e-mail address for lettors to the editor of that rag. Thanx, Erik |
