I have to agree with Eric,just because a thing can be done with spider spit and chewing gum doesnt always mean that it should be.There is a trend often encouraged by hobbist magazines to use devices in projects are crying out for a more powerful device,and as most people who are interested in reading hobbyist magazines tend to go on to take up a career in electronics or 'puter programming it makes me wonder if we are going to see fussion reactors controlled by 4 bit PIC devices in 20 years time.
