#37826 - Voltage Difference Between Grounds |
Hi All;
I have build a project that uses an 89C52, communiating with PC via serial port and doing some other stuff. The problem is that there is a voltage difference between the grounds of circuit and PC. Sometimes when the circuit is connected to the PC, MCU is freezing. The 5.th pin of DSUB-9(Ground)is connected to the ground of circuit.The length of cable is nearly 2 meters. This circuit will be used in different places. So i cannot do something about the grounding system of where the circuit will be placed and operated. So what modification or addition can be done to the circuit to prevent this problem? Thanks to everyone who contriubute. Ertan Balaban. |
