I'm still having huge problems with using the P89C51RC2H as a replacement for the P89C51RC+ (original but discontinued). All code that used to run on the RC+ appears not to run properly on the RC2H. I have checked the Philips forum for postings related to this subject, but all that I've seen is that the flash memory block layout is different. I downloaded the latest Flash Magic version which should take care of that, but without result. Regretfully my parallel programmer can not program this device (at least: it can't change the status byte). Before starting to strip down my code and find out by trial and error where to problem lies, maybe someone has seen similar problems and/or knows if there are any known compatibility issues that I have overlooked (apart from the obvious 6 / 12 clock).
