If the access time in your application is not critical you can do the following: 1) Connect to Port0 one 8-bit register to latch A0-A7. 2) Use pin P2.0,P2.1,P2.2 as A8,A9,A10 lines. 3) Use pin P2.3 as WR-line to latch A0-A7. 4) Write routine to access to your memory chip by software only. 5) Use the rest of Port2 pins for another purposes. If there are not enough pins yet you can connect second 8-bit register to Port0. Hope it helps. Regards, George |
