"If there are not enough pins yet you can connect second 8-bit register to Port0." could you elaborate? Just connect the inputs of the additional register to the Port0 and use the pin P2.7 (instead of ALE) to latch data into the register. Then write the code to output data: - Put data to port0, - Make pulse on P2.7 to latch data into the register. That's all. Do it and be of a good cheer! G.M. |
