What do you think of this approach - Use a buck/boost converter controlled by the MCU to convert the widely varying generator voltage to an appropriate charging voltage for the batteries (maintenance free car battery?). An off-the-shelf buck converter would convert the battery voltage to the required voltage of the ethernet relay. As for the MCU-ethernet interface, I don't know anything about that. - Lee Cross |
