Brian, I would like to add, Voltage and Current are co-dependant.
A voltage without any current would be useless, and a current only
moves if a voltage (difference) is present.
The signal inputs to any cmos or ttl logic chip or uP are rated as
voltages... but some current is still neccessary (usually micro Amps)
to pass that voltage.
