As far as I see, Simon is interested to get some uCUs and lifts specific
technical resource references.
As to uCUs anyone of you could refer him to some totorials, as to lift
field, probably too (instead of "ATTENTION!!!" and "CAUTION!!!").

Simon, do not be afraid of anything, everything made around you, have
being made by people, and lift too. Unfortunatly, I do not have experience
in the lift field. However, I hope someone will really help your problem.
As to uCU, I 'll try to help you as far as I would be able.
First you could to review this site, and www.intel.com, www.dalsemi.com, etc.
Look at application notes, it is possible you find something interesting
and helpful to your project, and may find some firther questions.
