I think the situation so far could be better characterized as follows:

Everyone that has posted so far has a long record of offering quick assistance. The problem here was the total lack of detail in the question, giving us nothing to respond with. Since the appeal was urgent, we promptly asked for more information about his needs so we can help.

In the meantime, we're just chatting amongst ourselves while on standby to assist.
