#4360 - RE: Please Help!
Hi, Jay, everyone,
Ok, let's hope Simon still has interest to our chatting. Please
support me in turning this chatter a technical direction to.

I would like to discribe the lift system as I see it, and you could
correct me.

MECHANICAL SECTION includes carriage, rails, blocks, ropes, balance
mass, electrical machine(s) with speed-reduction and brake system.
I do not think the mashine(s) must be controlled by speed or phase
with high precission (I mean no speed/phase sensors are neededd,
just a number of switches to register position of the carriage).
It is going to be enough to have motion modes as following: STOP,
UP(FAST/SLOW), DOWN(FAST/SLOW). All the mechanics must be full
protected of an interrupted power suply, and most of the systems
must be duplicated/redundant.

MACHINE DRIVERS are depending on the used machines...
Someone would fill this section better.

So, what we have on side of our CONTROL SECTION. As to me, it is
going to be used some sub-systems:
A. Machine Drivers control, brakes, carriage position, some
protection functions.
B. Cabin equipment control (Phene, IR-Door, "GUI", key pad, etc.)
C. Protection controller that will see over all the sytems, and
respond any failure event.
D. Communication sytem will make possible system intercommunication
and alarm notification duties, etc.

Next questuions could be discussed as following, uCU-selection,
network, sensors, power supply,...
The good qestion is how to protect someone/thing of falling to mine,
while the cabin is top/bottom. About 15 years ago, on a factory
I worked, an electro-car with driver have been fallen down. What
kind of protection could be used if lift door have not protected by
some case?..

Best regards,
Oleg
