I prefer only using devices I can program
Lattice and Xilinx (and probably the rest of the bunch) give away the software needed to program their devices. If you need fancy simulation and such, they charge. I just programmed a 208pin Lattice CPLD using the free tools without any problems. Ha' en go' dag Erik i NC USA |
