I've only to choose a way to have more I/O !
If you absolutely refuse to use a CPLD and can get enough just by outputs, put some 373/573 chips on P0 for input, use one p1 pin for strobe and you have 8 outputs for the price of one port pin (if you can change P0 with no ill effect). The 245 types may be worth looking at as well. Erik |
