#44170 - RE: MCU ground+PC ground Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hallo Rgahunathan,
I would never use unsymetrical signal routing at input of some signal conditioning equipement. It's only a question of time that problems arise. Analog signal to be measured should be amplified with the help of instrumentation amplifier. Symmetrical signal conditioning will become more and more demanding. At professional sound recording equipement it's standard since many decades! The advantage of symmetrical signal routing is, that you can still use screened cable and still connect cable screen at BOTH ends to ground. That's extremely important because only this will help you to form a ground mesh (in order to reduce common mode noise) and only by this a completely surrounded Faraday cage, which gives you so much tremendous benefit, can be realized. Signal conditioning with only unsymetrical signal routing can no longer be recommended, at all. Bye, Kai |
