C'mon, the guy is a student who has googled up a PIC based schematic, but unfortunately his teacher requires him to use an 8051 (talk about good design choice), nothing more. I don't expect him to do that sort of thinking yet, that's why he's in school. When you learn how to drive, you also have to focus on the clutch and the accellerator before you can afford yourself the luxury of anticipating the traffic. Some eventually learn, others never do. Leave it to talent.
