I used the counter method to count the incoming pulse, for one second. But in that case i get a resolution of 60RPM.
I tried using the pulse width method, but since the width of the incoming pulse is not constant, the RPM is not constant. Kindly suggest me a solution. Thanks.

Put 6 sensors and integer 2 seconds ... Resolution:5 RPM

Or measure the pulse width in x time and canculate the average of them.
