A hedgehog could also be used.. If the hedgehog is full height , then no car has passed.. If it is much much slimmer ,then a car has passed... You could also detect whether it was a car or a lorry by the splat radius.. part of the mcu interrupt routine would be to replace the old hedgehog with a new fully functioning one.. :-) |
