that eliminates LED from the option list. yes that is cm.

off topic but interesting thing, we should nothing emits continuous spectra, but descrete levels. if a light sourse is said to emit all the frequency (or wave lengths (c=n*l), its not possible, as there are infinite possibe levels and it will emit infinite energy out, which is not possible.



but my need is in resolution say 50 nm(nanometer) all over the visible spectra.
