Hi there ,
It is been awhile i have been intrested to implement a hardware to run a micro kernel linux on a micro processor based (ARM based) design with a graphic LCD and some other nice feauters including software mp3 decoding . but i haven't much exprience with linux and the ARM processors !. and unfortunately i wasn't able to find such of this projects on the net ! nowadays many things are running a micro linux because of its ease of use ,such as : - Cellular phones - PDA - MP3 Players - Router - Hub - Digital Sattellite TV chanell receicvers - and many others ... It is intresting to know that you even can run a linux on the 8051 based architecture !. For understanding the benefits of running a linux on something it is enough to say ,you can use everything that is available for linux ! such as TCP/IP and MP3 Decoder , ... . i am asking your help if you know such a project or some related information about details of how to run linux on a micro processor , please let me know.
