#49500 - RE: Is it April already?? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Thanks jez Smith
it seem some others sitting here to find an intresting thing about some one and make a laugh at them. You can run linux on any processor based system , better go read about it instead of laughing at me. It can be done but on an 8052 it will not be useful. All you are laughing at is that you cann't think about having a PC linux on an 8052 MCU ! I completely agree with you ,there are many cons for an 8052 to run a PC-based linux such as Maximum 64k of ram and low MIPS , Etc . Linux micro kernels are available for some u.p., see this link : Bluecat Linux http://www.lynuxworks.com/products/...uecat.php3 and for mp3 decoding in an Arm based system running linux see: www.cs.nthu.edu.tw/~mr884319/CS5105/ files/midterm/894331.pdf http://www.arm.com/support/4...penElement But you are completly off topic. i have been asking you information about running linux on an ARM based system. However if you keep going like this, its better that this topic to be closed. Farshid J.H. |
