My aim was to find Low Cost ISP parts.

It sounds like the LPC9xx serie is the answer.
Unfortunately, they're not available here from Radiospares or Farnell which are the two only dealers for low quantities. This is for my hobby purpose.

I'm bringing the microcontroller technology in my compagny in the automotive department.
So I've to choose a microcontroller familly and the associated toolchain.
89LPC9xx was my first choice but unfortunately, there is not chips with ADC. There is only analog comparator which doesn't fit our requirements.
It seems Philips will introduce a LPC9xx with 8 bits ADC at the end of the year.

After my preliminary assessment, the remained manufacturers I've sorted are Microchip with PICs, Atmel with AVR and Motorola with HC08.
AVR seems to be more interresting according to my criterions.

I'm really disapointed to not find a range of 8051 derivatives with at least Flash and 10 bits ADC.
As our products are sensors, we'll always ahve to measure some analog values with at least 10 bits resolution. So I must find a range od products with ADC as common peripheral.

But according to me, Philips should quickly consider to implement 10 bits ADC in their chips if they want to stay on small 8 bits industrial and automotive market.
