Yes - the application was an 'electronic' replacement for an air-duct damper mechanism which had a non-linear profile w.r.t a linear 'low/high' fire setting input from a front panel. The original used a large bulky cam-shaft arrangement that had to be set up manually (about 10-20 grub screws!). The 'profiles' were downloaded to the eprom from my S3 (Dataman - Softy). I still use my S3 - it's an amazing bit of kit! Regards, Henry. |
