#51535 - RE: FPGA training board Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Don't know how shipping is to other countries, but Xess (www.xess.com) has an XSA-50 board with 50k equivalent gates and it uses Xilinx Webpak. Cost is $USD 149. I have one and have successfully used it to build simple microcontrollers. Only problem is it does not work with Windows XP (for me anyway) - works fine under Win98.
BurchEd (www.burched.biz) has a 300k board for AU$330 (about $USD 220). They also sell numerous add-on boards. I have heard good things about them. When I was ordering they were on backorder so I never have used one, but they are probably available now. Frank Kienast P.S. Back to the 8051 subject, has anyone seen an open source core for an 8051 or 8052? I've seen several for PIC and Atmel, but never for an 8051/2. |
