The RJ you suggested in the previous round (connector hunt) would be excellent if I could trust the installers and maintenance people.

I have seen many telephone connectors with the detent tab broken off. Knowing the brilliant people working on the busses such a connector would just be put in again and "the signs work". This will, of course, only last till the first pothole.

Thus I am hunting for a screw in solution similar to the plugs we are currently using.
