Your comment would be valid (and is worth mentioning) if the software wouldn't take care of this. I have used a scheme as described in a hand-held programming device. Ofcourse I came across the mentioned problem, but is solved in software by waiting to release the FET a couple of hundreds of milliseconds after the switch has opened again when the system required to be switched off. |
