#54430 - RE: Off-topic posts by regular members Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Just so everyone knows, virtually anything that ties into an 8052 project is considered on-topic here--as long as it is clear that it is tied into an 8052 project.
Thus Erik's example "how do I calculate the resistors in the whetstone bridge that feed the ADC in my Cygnal" would be considered on-topic due to ints mention of Cygnal, but "how do I calculate the resistors in the whetstone bridge" would be considered off-topic. All anyone needs to do to keep their post from being marked off-topic is to formulate your question such that it is clear that the question somehow relates to an 8052 project. The reason for this is that we don't want the forum to become a general electronics forum with people appearing who don't even know what an 8052 is and asking general electronics questions. This is obviously an 8052 forum. If we deal with general electronics questions that's fine too, as long as we can all see how that ties into an 8052 project.
