The topology shown in the PDF is not the same as the one in your circuit Mahmood. The crystal is capacitively coupled to ground. Many "inverters" can be viewed as high gain amplifiers. The better crystal drive circuits recognise that you only want the crystal fundamental present in the circuit driving the crystal.
