Yes,,,,,Good ol' Acrobat 6.0. I purchased the Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional package so that I could author and re-work PDF files. I installed on my Win2K systems......it works most of the time. The main thing I noticed with this version is that it runs like a fat pig at load time. It takes almost 7 seconds to load the first time on a 933 MHz box !! It also has occasional crashes when trying to use the "Create PDF File" button that it installs on the tool bars inside of some applications. I had big problems using it this way with MS Word when DOCs are over 400 or so pages, regular crashes in Visio, and hardly ever works inside AutoCad LT 2004. On the other hand if I use the printer driver version of the PDF writer it works fine...altho way slower than the earlier 5.x version.

Adobe has always been known for fairly good software but I think they got infected with the bloatware disease when the programmers and marketeers went off to make Acrobat 6.0!!
