Note that the supported baud rates (4800, 9600, 19200, etc) are defined by the PC COM: port - it has nothing specifically to do with Visual Basic! A PC COM: port would have the same baud rate restrictions if you programmed it from MSVC, Delphi, C++ Builder, or whatever! You would have to hack the BIOS if you wanted to change that! (and I don't know if even that is possible with modern chipsets...) |
