I'm using the P89C668HBA. I've written a small program that simply toggles the cathode side of an LED connected to an I/O line. On my test board, I have hooked up an emulator and loaded the keil object file and it executes as I expect it to (LED onoff every second).

So then I program a real part and power it up. This time, it appears as if nothing is happening. I have scoped the LED i/o line and there is nothing going on. It's NOT executing my code.

Some of the things I verifed:
1) Vcc is decoupled with a 0.1uF and measures 5.0v
2) Vss is connected to ground
3) Vpp/EA is connected to 5.0v
4) PSEN and ALE are not connected.
6) RST is tied directly to Vcc.
7) The programmed part contains the firmware.
8) There is an 11.059Mhz crystal connected

What am I missing? Are there any "fuse" bits associated with this part that maybe I didn't program? Maybe something I can check to see if this thing is booting up into ICP mode?
