True, but Imran has clarified his "16-bit" requirement to mean:
* 16-bit maths;
* 16-bit external bus.

As I've said, these can both be achieved in the Triscend's configurable logic; and Michael noted that the Cygnal has a 16x16 multiply accumulator, and a 16-bit peripheral interface isn't that hard anyway.
