SEARCH with "shaft encoder PLD" got http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=34964 One of Jez's clever bits of VHDL, for a hardware solution. Peter D. posted a very useful snippet on this topic years ago. I'd be thinking of dividing the output to something a bit more realistic if I were you. Does this help ? Steve |
