Well, no, Dennis Welbourn has championed the ESD idea from early on, and the suggested ideaa for fixes tie in exactly with what you describe works as a solution. To my shame I missed the comments about dry weather making things worse.

It seems to me from that, that the use of some brass bristle brushes, applied to the rollers etc and connected to ground will solve your problem.

What it doesn't explain of course is how these discharges get into your system, if it is as well isolated as you say.

Once again, congratulations on the clearest exposition of the problem we have ever seen.
