I have tried the Atmel and 2 others, and I tried different transistors and using an OP-AMP. I tried 2 89c1051s and 1 89c2051, none of them even show the identifier bytes! I hate these stupid 20-pin pieces of MAC. I going to stick with my nice 40-pin current hogs and 64k-ROMs. Those stupid 20-pin wonders cost me $4 each! What a waste..
