I am not saying that the interrupt bits cannot be disabled. but all i am trying to say is that it is illogical to disable the interrupt for ever. how would one work with the interrupt disabled?

and you are never sure about the time the interrupt bit should be disabled (how long the user presses a key for eg).

what am i missing?
