I'll look into it.

I did also like Hans idea of a polarity bridge on the input circuit so I am looking at that. I drew the schematic for it and so far looks good....reduces switch to a SPDT which can get @ 4x in a 16 pin DIP swiitch from many vendors so cost for that is also attractive.
