#60497 - got two points. Checking them... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Patrik, Erik and Andy,
I got some points that I overlooked and also did'nt know. 1. Appending a <CR> at the end of the command. Did not use it since its mention was not made in any document that I refered. But, I shall implement it anyway the first thing in the morning and let you guys know. (I believe it would solve the problem) 2. I did not use the simulator. Will check that too tomorrow. 3. I said the cabling was correct, as I used the same (3-core) cable (that I am using to connect my micro and the modem) to connect my PC and the modem and still achieved the result. 4. Im using 12MHz crystal as the board is available readily. To change it, I either have to change the board or desolder-resolder the crystal. Also, the Serial I/O is working fine (I checked a chat software using Hyper Terminal) on the present crystal. So, see you all tomorrow. Thank you for the advices. The 12MHz is not the final value and neither is the board (but for checking the communication with the modem, this present board is identical to the one I'll be building later). Regards, Harsha. |
