#60536 - Ditch the SSR?
Responding to: ???'s previous message

Unless a ballast/lamp is specifically marked to support solid state relays and/or dimmers, there is a remote possibility of overheating in addition to the undesired operation.

Looks like time to review your use of this SSR.

Do you have to use an SSR? Could you use a "normal" electromechanical relay instead?

Can you find another SSR specifically designed for this application, or a lamp specifically designed for electronic control?
