I need to receive the Caller Line Identification (CLI) Information of 32 Trunk Lines using ONE 8051 micro-controller or its variant. I am using HOLTEK's HT9032 as a CLI Receiver. This Chip outputs the data of one Telephone Line serially. If I were to use Micro-controller for One line, I could connect the Data Out pin of CLI receiver to Rx Pin of Micro-controller to receive the data vis its serial port.
But now I have the 32 Serial Lines that need to be connected to Micro-controller. Can someone recommend how should I go about it ?. Is there any CLI chip available that can output its data in Parallel mode, so that I can read the Multiplexed Data of all 32 CLI chips one-by-one.
