Hi jez
Is it worth doing everything in VHDL using CPLDs and FPGAs or are there things easier to be done with microcontrollers and other things to be done by FPGAs? After all if you have a microcontroller core you can get the best of both worlds can't you ? I think it becomes cost and time issue more than power and capability issue. Which is easier to solve a problem using a microcontroller with C language or using FPGA with VHDL language? Can you share your experience regarding this matter with us please? Mahmood |
