yes, they were blatant errors, there shouldnt be any junction on the ground end of the varistor.

as for the pull ups, i put them in because i seen them on another circuit that involved a 805x and lcd

i only put them in in the last minute, looks like they are on the way out.

what about the way i have the rtc interfaced.....?

do you know how i can get 'fancy' characters dispalyed on the lcd..

like the way you see in shop front displays...

characters that zip across the display, 1 at a time and stuff!

i want to get my name coming on the lcd,

like ....

zipping across the dispaly, one at a time.....and then it will show the time, date, year, etc......

mmmmmm

thats the general idea anyway!
