#61002 - reset/supervisory ic: Cypress response Responding to: ???'s previous message |
"You may use any external reset chip, but please make sure that the reset time is not too long. We recommend a reset time of 10 ms. On plug in the FX2 signals at attach event to the host. If you hold the Rest for too-long an attach signal will be sent to the host and the host will begin its enumeration sequence (100 ms from when the attach is detected), while the FX2 is still held in reset. Please refer to section 7.1.7.3 (page 150) of the USB 2.0 specification, where further information is provided on the debounce interval (delta t3). We recommend that you use a reset time of 10 ms which is easily achieved with an RC network (100K/0.1 uF)."
Any comments/suggestions on the above response I got from Cypress' technical support? George |
