#61824 - RE: Project on 8051 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi,
"Arif Deshmukh" looks more to me like Indian version of Pakistani Shahzad Aslam (Hatim Zakaria or many other names that he had....) Oil companies do not start digging anywhere they feel like becuase they believe in hard work to get the oil. They only dig where their experience (from the survey and knowledge) guides them to dig and more than 90% they hit the oil. One will hardly succeed in embedded business merely because he believes in hard work. You got to chalk out the areas where you MUST have knowledge and experience before you can use that in making a worthy product for the users mostly having no knowledge of Elelctronics. For example a gas station owner comes to you to work out a controller for him to make a feul meter (with complete features), be able to sum up the liters sold and transmit the data from each of 12 dispensing units to his central office computer to work out daily and monthly sales and in addition to also monitor the levels in main underground tank and raise alarm at low levels to order from the refinery.......... And you got to do that in two month time: Of course you can do that but are you ready with only two projects (feathers) in your crown. you got a lot in this project to be expert on (data tranmission, busses and protocols). One can easily get pissed off in this kind of project with shallow knowledge and experience. Watch out Both the customers (drivers) and the owner are watching every second for their stakes..... mind you "haste makes only the waste" and not the business. Only whores don't need any experience to start with a good business. hehehhehhehhehehhee Babar |
